] we took out a charter consisting of Walter,Harry,Mike,George, Marco and Jose. We were entered into the Molnars landing Shark Tournament out Shinnecock,NY. We ran out to the 25 fathom fingers. It started off slow. We did see 3 Makos free jumping way out of our slick. then at 3:00 PM. the deep bait got nailed! I set the hook and a nice 6' Mako goes 10' into the air! I hand the rod over to Marco and the battle was on! tHE BATTLE lasted over 30 minutes. we finally got the Mako into the Boat and made it to the weigh in with an hour to spare! at the weigh in ceremonies we placed first with a 148LB. Mako.
P.S. We have openings this month and next if anyone is interested in joining us.
