Here are some pics of our new 3.5" & 2.5" Cut'r Bugs, and 1.5" Ice Cut'r. Check them out, and let me know what you think. I've done real well with them. Used them at a tournament up at Milner last month. Took 5th place (would've taken 3rd, but got docked for a dead fish). We've had positive reports from all who have used them so far. The 3.5" Cut'r Bug is the only one being used right now, the other two will be ready soon.

There was no ice on Milner today. And, the 4 Cut'r Bugs that I got were given to me by a blackmarketeer.

You guys need to get the ice fishing off of your mind for a few more months!
I think it's a little hot out to be thinking of ice fishing.
The cut'r bug is similar to the reaper but much better. It is redesigned with a full body, and a thinner tail for more action.
I didn't know you were into Blackmarketeering?

Well, here's my 2 cents for what it's worth, which probably isn't worth a dang!!!! Remember I'm the guy who really liked the discontined 3 Berkley pulse worm. I lke lures that have a lot of action when fished slow, on smaller side and "finess" methods. The main problem with the 3 " pulse worms was that the small pan fish would tear em up too quick while fishing for the bigger guys.
As far as your new addition, for me, I'm wondering if the shape and thickness will be a little stiff for me. I do take the repers and split the tails to give a little more action to em which helps. Don't get me wrong, those reapers are one of my go to lures now and work well. Still would like to see something with a long wavy tail soft small deeply ribbed body (like the pulse worm only shorter). All of this in the 3 " size. Just my idea. For me, the long wavy tail helps slow or drop shot fishing. I like the shape and colors but I think it would be a killer if the tail was thinner, longer, and wavy, not a curl, wavy. The worms, paddle tails, minnows aren't working as well as te reapers for me so ------------. thus the tail comment.
Wow, now would you look at that!! What the heck do I know? Can you buy the new guys at Sportsman ye?

[cool]James, isn't that the same thing as the Reaper? It looks really effective though. I wanna get some of those little ice nuggets too. I think if you cut the tail (like leaky does) that it would flutter really well under the ice like the old "Whatta Cricket" formerly sold by Hooked. I'm gonna order some of those before the ice season from you...

Hey Leaky all you need to do is put these new reapers on a hook and you will see that splitting the tail isn't needed. The tail on these new baits are designed to have alot more movement than the old ones. And they are a lot softer. The old reaper didn't trip my trigger anymore, so I made it better! I have already had reports of Smallies over five pounds taken with these new baits. If these baits didn't prove to be better than what we were currently selling, then I wouldn't of spent the money on materials and fifty plus machine shop hours to make the production mold. I do appreciate all of the kind words and support from all of you guys as well as the recomendations that I receive from all of you. You can now pic these baits up at the Riverdale Sportsmans, they should have them on the shelf tommorrow. I hope I answered everyones questions.
Thanks!

I think that's just the first tournament win of many more to come on that lure Moose!
The Cut'r Bug has been producing very well for everyone that fishes them. My Dad used them at Flaming Gorge last week and Smashed a bunch of Smallies.
