deer creek 9-4-06
#1
fished deer creek with wiperhunter2, we launched at about 6:30am
and off at 4:30pm. it was a really nice day, not very much wind at all, most of the day was just about flat. fished my walleye spot first thing in the morning. had few hits lost a few worms, then we put on a stinger hook and hooked a couple of 8in. perch. we worked around there for a while and I hooked a nice fat 17in. walleye, we fished around there for quite a bit more and only got more perch. we headed up the RR side and casted rapalas at the bank and hooked a bunch of small smallies, nothing over 13in. with most being 10in. and smaller. I hooked 1 largemouth and he was also about 10in.
the water is coming down sence the last time I drove by about a month ago. looks like fall is starting, lots of red in the mountains.
here's a couple of pic's. later chuck

Really enjoyed getting out with you on Tuesday Chuck. It's too bad that a few more fish did not come out to play but all in all it was a good day. Nice to see the fall colors in the mountains and the water starting to cool. Looking forward to our outing next month at LB. Good luck at the Gorge this weekend[Smile]
