Labor Day Salmon
#1
My wife and I went up to Seattle to visit our families over labor day. We went with my parent to the Ballard Locks to check out the Salmon. The Coho were making their spawning run. There were tons of them. It was cool to see them in the viewing area trying to get through the ladders. One of the pics is looking down at the water, if you look carefully you can see them just under the surface.

Man I miss that time of year... I spent 10 years in Olympia, WA and I LOVED that time of year. You could go down to basically any river in the area and watch them come up.

Or you could go down to the bridges and watch the sea lions chasing them. Really fun to bounce egg patterns for them in the rivers.

Such a cool area, I wish I was there right now...
