North slope Uintas
#1
I am planning a grand slam outing this weekend for trout. We are planning on hitting the north slope of the uintas outside of Lonetree WY. Does anyone want to give some advice of good locations for fishing. I'll have 2 boys with me who only fish seldomly and I'd like to get them into some fish. PM me if you don't want to share your spot with the entire world. Any pointers would be appreciated. Thanks.

We fished Spirit Lake a few weeks ago. It is a great place to take the kids for a mixed bag of cutts and bows. Our best luck was next to the road about midway across the lake. We used Rainbow PowerBait and had limits in less than an hour.

Stateline Res., and the smaller lake above it. That creek that flows through them, Smith's fork, is a good one too. By the way, as of now, its all white up there, and there's more on the way tonight.
