it started off with dead bateries in the boat,so i jumped it with the truck battery.the gauge showed it was charging,so i just wont shut it off.found a large school of blues down river just passed the montville power plant,we hooked up with4 in the 8-10 lbs range and they were gone.we searched around and found some smaller blues.so we headed up river.by the power lines and an oil company dock we found some bunker so thick you could walk on them.we tried spoons,shad bodies with no takers,we put on small poppers and the first cast we both had on stripers,just short of being keepers 26"27".a few cast later we had on smaller ones.then i ran out of gasmade it back with the trolling moter and the batteries we just about dead .today i filled the gas and bought 2 new batteries,good to go for next week
