Man, that's a nice fish. We've got good striper fishing down the coast a little ways, especially right there in NC, but I don't know the first thing about fishing for them. I have the general idea, but in all honesty, i've never really tried. I guess i've got my hands full with what's right around the general area and just never gave it a second thought.
Do you guys mostly boat fish for them up there or do you have some good bank fishing too? I know you can snagg them from the bank in NC during the right time of year. Santee Cooper River here in SC has great striper fishing too, but you've got to hit that the right time of year too. I guess I should do more research and give it a try. I hear they are good eattin' too, you ever tried them before? [signature]

Their one of my favorite fish to sit down to a table with. Mostly you need a boat and a good size one to chase one like in the picture. I'll go after them in the spring and fall when they go for the rivers. Snaging is frowned on up here for them, now bunker, snag away.[
