Willow Pond 10/24
#1
Grab your kids and head for Willow Pond. It has finally been planted. I fished it tonight for about 2 hours and caught 32 rainbows. Some were pretty small but some were bigger than the average planter. Word will spread fast. There were probably around 2 dozen fishermen there tonight and they will catch them out pretty fast. I left all of mine for next time but most don't.

The DWR starts planting those community ponds again when the weather gets cold. I would imagine that most of them will see visits from the stocking truck in the next little while. Can be a lot of fun for kids. Thanks for the update.

I keep watching the ponds by my house for trout action, but nothing yet. Nice report. Now you fish more than me.[Wink]

I fished Willow Pond again this morning from 7:30 to 1:00. The fishing was great and so was the catching. I caught 91 bows. I left right after they dumped another truck load of fish in there.[Smile]

Willow Pond is just East of the Jordan River and just north of I-215. From 5400 S go south on 1300 W. Then go East on Bullion St to Murray Park Blvd., then south to Willow Pond Park. The pond is in the SE corner of the park.
