Lake Mead Thursday Evening

Thursday, 10/26/06- Hit the water around 4:30 p.m. Found fish stacked up in the deep water next to Sand Island. Used the electric trolling motor to stay in place over fish. Frozen shad was the presentation tonight, 90+ feet was the range. Picked up six nice stripers in three hours,two four pounders! Off the water before 7:30 p.m.

The boat ramp at Lake Mead Marina is getting bad. There are holes, loose gravel, and it is very narrow because of a cable just under the surface that is marked with orange floats. Be careful!
