Went to the Bear today and fished off the dikes at the state park. Only one other guy there when we got there. He caught a trout of some kind and left. My boy and I tried for whitefish for a couple of hours only picked up one 15" white on a twistertail. Another couple of days and they should be in much better.

No bait. I forgot the worms. My one fish sucked it in hard though, only the jighead was visible. When they do that I usually don't mess with bait. However it may have made a difference that day.
