Slimer,
Please quit hot spotting this lake. I wish people in the valley would go to Strawberry! Before anyone has a nervous breakdown, I am just kidding.
I fished it for about an hour yesterday (not much time) and had one, and I mean one very small hit.
I know a local that has been out several time on both resevoirs (Woodruff and Birch Creek). The better fishing, from his report, has been Woodruff.
However, I will be there tomorrow with a friend. If you see a gray crew cab dodge, thats me.

Fished both lakes this past fall and the fishin was faster at Woodruff but the bigger ones were at BC.We'll give BC a good effort and if that don't pan out we'll hit Woodruff for the smaller cutt's.We'll be in a white Jeep Cherokee.I'll come chat with you on the ice.

More than likely I will be fishing at the east end of the lake. If you don't mind me asking, what have you had your best luck with?
I have usually used 1/32-1/6 oz jigs.

Haven't ice fished it for quite a few years. When we fished it this fall we were using a clear bubble with a crawler about three feet down.Caught some nice tigers and football rainbows.I saw a post from IFG and all he said regarding ice fishin was that he uses a dark jig and meat..meat..meat.So were bringing crawlers, minnows, mealies and waxies. He also mentioned that finding the old creek channel makes a big difference.I think we'll be punching alot of fishfinder holes to see what we can locate down there. If that don't work there's always the kitchen sink!!

Slimer,
Sounds like we are on the same page. I have also heard that fishing the shallow depths can be good. I didn't have my fish finder with me yesterday but will tomorrow.
