Dangerous ice!!! Thanks Lundman!

Thanks to Lundman, my son survived falling through the ice yesterday.
He watched the post that Lundman put up about what to do if you go through the ice, just the night before he went fishing.
He used the information from the link to get himself back onto the ice.
Ice was over 5" thick in most spots but he found a week spot and in he went!
Be very careful with this new ice. It isn't very forgiving!!!

thats great news! i'm glad he is okay! this site is a great resourse for more than just fishing reports. im curious to know where he was at. i was fishing wed on 6 iches, i wonder if i was in any danger? pretty interesting. thanks for the post!

i heard about it at sportsmans on Riverdale Rd. and i think they said he was at Daniels Res.

Yes he was at Daniels. I didn't say where, because it doesn't really mater where, we just need to be careful and have some safety equipment with us when ice fishing.
Mantua also makes me nervous early in the season.
