ROCKPORT PM
#1
Rather than fight the crowds of last minute shoppers I decided to take an afternoon trip to the Rock. The afternoon weather was great, the fishing was slow.
I fished down by the dam and found the ice to be as reported 4 inches thick. I fished in 30 feet of water up at 20 to 25 feet. That is where I caught the 3 rainbows. They were nothing to write home about but at least I had some action. I seen some fish come through the area but not very many. All in all it beat the heck out of last minute Christmas shopping.
MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!!

I was headed there this afternoon also but Pikeman talked me into going to Echo. My daughter and I had about the same result, 4 Rainbows. I could see the perch on the finder but no bites. The bows made for a good Christmas eve eve dinner.[Smile]
