A KEEPER
#1
[cool] Congratulations to EmuScud, a newly registered BFT member from Utah since Feb. 10'th...and a fine fly tier and fly fisherman. Also an accomplished tuber/'tooner. He landed a 21 incher last night, that weighed 10# 4oz...with a little help from his wife. The boy was definitely a keeper. No catch and release.

Mom and son are doing fine, even though there were a couple of "wind knots" in the umbilical cord. Emu figures his new fishin' buddy is already picking up on his bad casting habits.

Congrats, EmuScud for the addition to your family. 10 lbs WOW he's a whopper. Only a couple more years and he will be catching 21"ers himself.

[#ff0000]Landing them kinda trophies is what I do the other 40 hours of my week strictly catch and release. Did anyone tell you how incredibly lucky (or blessed) you are to have him here? To have one knot in the umbilical cord is often fatal, but several? He's a great looking young man, you have my sincere CONGRATULATIONS! On the side, did he get anything besides a bunch of burp cloths and goofy hats for his shower? You know if you leave those things up to those women that is all he will get. I would recommend a closed face reel with his past record of birdnests. [/#ff0000]
