sat 2-18 what a beautiful day, it got too warm after noon, ice was good 12" but open around shore in some spots in the pm we caught alot of rainbows and nothing else. some fair sized, most fish seemed to be cruiseing close to shore mabie because of the openings we fished mabe 15' from the bank in 17' of water, sure would like to know where the perch are but I guess if thay're that few we need to leave em for the eye's. good firm trout some with nubbin fins some not, plenty of them.

Sounds like we should have gone to Deer Creek on Saturday. Perhaps you were too shallow to find any perch.

Where abouts were you on Deer Creek ?

North end, west side or by the island ?
