East Canyon Today W/pics
#1
Fished East with my son today from 12 to 5 and did very well. Had to use my 16' ladder to get us and some fellow anglers onto the ice at Taylor. Bad stuff with the edges. You got to get out 6 or 7 feet to get hard ice. Caught some 13 and 14" bows down 15-20 feet on many different things.
Also alot of deer in the state park and around the lake, and there were about 6 2-points together.

LH2,

We had to slow down Sunday because of all the deer on the road from Hennifer. They were all over the place!

Great pics of your little man layin' the wood to those bows! Can't wait to take my niece out when she is a little older (only 18 mos. right now).

It's never too early. Gage caught his first fish at just less than a year old. It was summer time though. Ice fishing makes a big difference.

Nice fish looks like the Ice season is coming to a close to me. Not safe enough for me looks like you were pushing your luck today! [unimpressed] Hate to see you or your boy fall in for a stupid fish

Great pics and report. I was also wondering when I would be able to take my daughter out as she is just over 18 mo's. I think she would love it. Your boy looks like he is taking after his old man a real pro.

Nice report Brody, looks likes some clean fish, no parasites. I would have to agree thought, the ice fishing is over for the season there, that looks scary[unsure]. Interesting about the deer, I thought they loose their horns by now, I guess not. Thanks for sharing.
