Took a few first-timers out on the ice (or what's left of it). I was playing "mother goose" helping them rig up, drill holes, get accustomed, etc. We were on the north side in the narrows in approx. 25 ft. of water. The guy that wet his line first got a nice perch and then not even 2 min. later I helped him pull a bass out! (see pic.) After that, it was non-stop action for all of my "crew" for about an hour, and then it slowly died. We moved to the south side in the afternoon and managed a few more perches. Overall, good day and a great first time ice fishing experience (I wish I had one like that when I started Smile )

different kinds of ice flies (green/yellow combinations). The smallie was caught on a 1/16 black tube jig with Maniac's chartreuse ice cut'r bug
