utah lake \willard bay

fished utah lake fri night (Lincon beach) in my tune fished till 11:00 pm caught few small whit bass, no walleye, no cats lots of water water was 54 deg. went out to willard sat morning 5:30 am fished from north marina to north west corner, caught 1 nice size cat on fire ball jig and worm, i bottom bounced, trolled tail dancers no takers water was mid 50's, went out to willard on Monday evening south west corner, could not believe the people fishing in the bend for the wipers, it was sholder to sholder, packed tune over the dike rigged up motor and batt. and off I went marked alot of fish but again only cats on gold bottom bouncer, saw a couple of wipers caught but not many, fished to the light pole and back in the dark till about 10:00 no walleye not a tap, water was 65 deg. most depths really has warmed fast. walley spawn over ???? who knows ??? May go to Utah lake on Fri if weather not to bad, any takers to join me just yell..........

It's strange how fast water temps are rising this year. I doubt the spawn is over at Willard, Utah Lake changes every year anyway, good luck out there, post a report. I may head out this weekend also.

I can heat a glass of water (2 inches full) up 10 degree's just by breathing heavy on it[crazy]!!! My point is when the water, I.E. Willard Landfill.........errrrrrrr.........I mean Willard Bay is only a foot deep that means the water will get pretty warm, pretty quickly. Just my humorous (to me at least) two cents (or is it sense?)!!! That place needs some serious water in other words!!![pirate]
