hot spots?
#1
Hey fellas...

got a buddy visiting the region for a couple days and he wanted to know of any good spots from Salt Lake to St. George.

He's wanting to get into some big rainbows, and I was thinking maybe Strawberry Res? Not sure if the ice is all the way off yet though.

I haven't been out lately, so I figured I'd ask you guys. Any ideas would be much appreciated.

Thanks in advance,

Derek

I'm sure strawberry is almost completely frozen still, plus you hardly ever catch a rainbow there at all anymore.

I'm coming in from Long Beach. I have to deliver a spa on Tuesday afternoon to Park City. Will be free all day Wednesday. I'm bring along my 8' pontoon boat with Humminbird Piranahmax 10 fish finder, so I would prefere a lake setting with no ice. That's why I was kind of leaning towards fishing at Minerville res and also the Lower Beaver river. E-mail me at: jcspas1@yahoo.com and I'll shoot you my cell phone number. Thanks,
JC

well if you dont want ice on the lake this might not be the best place for ya to hit then.. there is open water but not much..

i would say minerville. or ottercreek or Piute would be better choices for ya..

Thanks for the heads up. My buddy who first posted here for me lives up near Logan, and I hope to sell a dozen spas or so in the area, so hopefully I'll be back up this way soon!
