Did anybody else fish Pineview 2day?
#1
Fished Pineveiw today from about 1:30 to 5:00. Had one bite between the two of us, my buddy had a Lg. muskie on or foul hooked a lg. carp on for about two mins. He was trying to adjust his drag to gain some ground on the fish and lost it. Water temp was a cool 41 low 44 high in some spots but not many. The wind blew the entire day with white caps and big wind gusts from time to time. I did even see a fish. I talked to a few guys coming off the lake they didn't do well How about anyboy else?

I was in my bass boat fished northfork both sides, the northside of cemetary point and the other side of middle fork, fished pretty hard. Waters is still a bit chilly but it was nice to get the boat out and get a early start on fixing this years kinks. Thanks for the reply.

Im not very familiar with the name of things around the lake but here goes....straight across from the boat landing that you make a left over the dam to get to and a little around the boad landing. Can you help me out with what these areas are called it was only my second time out there and ive been trying to figure out where cemetery point is and the names of a few places to use as reference.

There are four main parts to the lake. The narrows which is from the dam east to the main body of the lake. Then the forks, north fork, middle fork and south fork all forks have there own individual differances each is like it's own lake almost. Cemetary point separates southfork and middle fork and can been seen from most parts of the lake, and is a very good area to fish almost completely around it but the sandy beach side is for swimming in the summer.
I think your talking about the day use area the point would be east of you if I am understanding you correctly. PM me and we can exchange phone #s I can help you more. if you would like. Wes.

Thanks for the report. Although I expect more boat traffic there this year, I plan on fishing it often. I love smallie fishing up there. I have caught several muskies, so they are a bonus as well. [Smile]
