...I already know that I'm OCD as well as AnalRetentive, but I spent 2 hours last night in the garage trying to figure out where to mount my rodholders in my family boat.
I've got the new scotty round flush mounts, access to some old scotty flush mounts, as well as some scotty side/top mounts. Do you generally like to mount them inside on the sides of the upholstery or on the gunnels (flush). Kindof wish I could duct tape them on, go out and try them, then decide if I like them permananently or not.
Will be trolling and want 4 mounts.
Fishing boat is no problem, as I don't have problems drillilng holes in it...but every time I drill a hole in my nice family boat I have to close my eyes.
Somebody on a recent thread mentioned that the ones mounted inboard on the upholstery were in the way?
(I know, this is a stupid post).
