Orlando, FL (PRWEB) April 19, 2007 -- The JW Marriott Grande Lakes Orlando now offers comprehensive learning seminars and extended adventure activities with the new ORVIS Orlando Two-Day Fly Fishing School. Part of the Grande Lakes Outfitters program, the two-day school is appropriate for all skill levels and ideal for family and corporate groups visiting the Orlando resort.

The two-day school involves a hands-on approach with a balanced schedule of classroom seminars and field instruction by ORVIS-endorsed fly fishing Instructors. Seminars take place in a variety of on-site locations where students will learn casting techniques, essential knots, gear and tackle selection, proper fly selection and how to read the water. How to play, land and safely release fish will also be covered as all fishing is catch and release at the Orlando resort. Sessions are held on Wednesday through Thursday and Saturday through Sunday. The ratio of instructors to students is 1:4 or less and only the finest in ORVIS fly fishing equipment is used.

The two-day school is an extension of the programs already offered since mid-2006. Starting at $60 per person, seminars, fly fishing and eco-tour adventures are also available to guests of the Orlando golf resort and the adjacent property, The Ritz-Carlton, as well as to all outside visitors.

Priced at $430 per person, registration for guests staying at the hotel and non-hotel guests must be completed through www.orvis.com or by calling (800) 235-9763.
