Baitcasting reel abu Garcia Revo S-l help!

Hey guys,

I have a problem with with my baitcaster reel. It is a new one and it the first new one I have had. I just got home from the lake and my reel started to act up.. It wouldnt moved where the line is at and would not reel in. It worked fine all day but, then just stoped working. Any help on what I can do to fix it? or need more infoprmation just let me know thanks.

you probably bumped the magnetic drag in the ride and tightened it up.

try loosening it up, if that dose not work come back and let us know...

The biggest problem with a newer reel is usually the level wind feature on them. 1 little grain of sand or dirt in the levelwind gear can disable the whole reel.

You may need to back off the screw that hold the Pawl for the reversing worm gear. That is where the reel sticks the most. Take it out and see if you can properly re seat it in it's track.[cool]
