The aerial tramway at Hawks Nest State Park near Ansted in Fayette County will be closed until further notice while repairs are made, according to Hawks Nest State Park Superintendent Tom Shriver. Parts have been ordered, and the tram should be back in operation soon. The aerial tramway from Hawks Nest Lodge to the marina at the bottom of the New River Gorge is a main attraction at the park. Arrangements for jet boat rides at the marina during the repairs can be made by calling the Hawks Nest State Park ticket office at (304) 658-5212.
