The 8th Annual South Jersey Youth Outdoor Day will be held rain or shine on Saturday, August 18, 2007 at the Salem County Sportsmen Club on Route 40 in Carney's Point. The event is free to all youths 7 to 17 years old and is limited to the first 150 that register. All youths must be accompanied by an adult.
Activities include one on one archery instruction, fly tying and casting, trap shooting, pistol and rifle shooting, turkey calling, lake fishing, canoe/kayak instruction and a nature walk treasure hunt. This event is hosted by the Salem County Sportsmen Club and made possible with assistance from Ducks Unlimited, National Wild Turkey Federation, South Jersey Fly Fishers, United Bowhunters of NJ, South Jersey Bass Club Association, SPLASH and the NJ Division of Fish and Wildlife.
