Ogden area trip
#1
I'm going to be in the Ogden area next month and was wondering where would be a good place to get in and fish while I'm there. Any help would be appreciated

Both the Ogden and Weber rivers are good for flyfishermen. I've only been on the Ogden once, but have spent quite a bit of time on the Weber and really like it. Warmer weather might mean some top water action w/ terrestrials too. See if you can find some hatch charts too.

Don't know if you have type of boat (float tube or anything), but if you like flyfishing lakes too, pineview is close and you can get some good action. I'm working on getting some big golden bones (carp) out of pineview on my flyrod, now that will be fun![sly]

You realize that you just turned fishing the middle fork into a vendetta for me.

I have only heard it called Middle fork of the Ogden it might go by another name. There is horse trailer parking and a good horse trail there.
