Hello,

I am new here and I need some help. I want to go fishing around Cameron, Louisiana or close to there. I grew up Saltwater fishing in Texas but live in DeRidder, Louisiana now and would like for my wife and two girls to be able to experience the fun I had as a Kid. Can anyone help me with some locations to go to around the South West sector of Louisiana?

There is alot of good shoreline between there are Galveston. That is a good area for the Reds and the Specs. Be sure to stock up on plenty of live Shrimp as they do love them.

Another option would be to fish the inlet there to Sabine Lake. It is about 25 miles west of Cameron and hold some good Specs too.[cool]
