The Colorado Division of Wildlife has scheduled a big game management planning meeting for the San Luis Valley, 6-9:30 p.m., Nov. 19 at the Center Middle School cafeteria.
Big game managers will discuss plans for elk in game management units 68 and 681; plans for deer in game management units 68, 681 and 682; and plans for antelope throughout the San Luis Valley area. DOW staff will discuss total population objectives, sex-ratio objectives and management tools for meeting the objectives.
The public is invited to ask questions and discuss issues related to these topics.
Center is located about 10 miles north of Monte Vista on Colorado Highway 112 between Colorado Highway 17 and U.S. Highway 285.
