Three minor fee increases for next year announced by the DNR Division of State Parks and Reservoirs in a news release dated Nov. 26 will not be implemented in 2008.
A request to raise the fee for C class (primitive) camping and swimming pool passes to offset maintenance and labor costs was originally approved, but the DNR has since determined that the increases are not necessary.
With the retraction, C class camping remains at $6 per night, Sunday-Wednesday, and $8 per night, Thursday-Saturday. Also, daily swimming pool admission remains at $2 per person. The price for a 25-visit pool pass stays at $35.
A complete listing of fees for state parks and reservoirs is listed at http://www.in.gov/dnr/parklake/propertie..._fees.html.
