[green][cool]If you use dubbing wax an inexpensive source would be to use the wax from a toilet bowl sealing ring. Apparently it has the consistency of the commercially sold tying wax.[/green]

[cool][green]Using bow rosin by itself won't quite get the results required. It has to be mixed with a couple of other ingredients. Here is what is required to get started.[/green]

[green][cool]I have a couple of [NEW] toilet bowl wax sealers that's been in my closet for years. One of these days might give a bit a try. However, I do have wax thread applicator that work quite well. It is a 2"x½" round plastic container holding a bees wax concoction. There are 3 groves on 2 sides where one would run the thread through into the wax.[/green]

I just got done processing about ten pounds of bees wax... streight from the bee hive... well several bee hives...
one thing I can say about the bees wax, if floats big time....
thanks for the tip, I think come spring I am going to have me a new set of floater to play with[cool]
I got me some gills that will be fighting to get on the hook, not to mention the color is just about right, just need to find me a little chartruce die to top it off..., I wonder if I can add fish sent to the wax...? maybe a dash of cod liver oil? or vitamine E.....
any thoughts?
