The day after Thanksgiving my friend and his son went down to willow beach to fish the trout plant. We were an hour later because they do not change there clocks. We trolled and casted all day. At the end of the day I hooked up and the fight was on!!! After 20 minutes she was in the boat 25.7 lbs. We took a few pictures and gave her back her freedom. This was the only fish on this trip.

AWESOME!! What a great day on the water for you all! Care to share any details? I've never tried fishing for those cows and would like to know more.

Nice fish, what lure did you catch it on ? We usually troll Mega Bats or cast Casitas lures.

I was using a 9" AC plug. It was a trout pattern. I was flat line trolling down the river with one rod. And I was up front casting with another. I have made many trips at different times of the year. This is the first time I ever caught something down there.
