I'm planning on purchasing a personal-pontoon to use on lake mead. I would appreciate any comments or advice you are willing to share. What brand and stile would you recommend?

Hello,
A few of my friends have pontoon boats. One has a tracker 18' he has no problems. My other has a Neptune and the other has a Bennington. The main thing you need to find out is the pontoon thickness. The tracker is the thinnest on the market. Other than that they are great boats to fish and relax out on the water. Good luck with your purchase.[ ![]() Stripercraze [signature]

[cool]Hey dhoneh, I've been looking at the fishcat. They make several different models from 7' long pontoons to 9' pontoons. They also make two person models. They come with a motor mount for a trolling motor, however I would stick to the oars; less hassle and no registration. Rowing beats kicking any day. I'm still using a floattube on mead and have decent success with it.

Hi Guys,
I just picked up a fish cat 9 toon and a water skeeter day tripper 2 tube off of craigslist. Dhoneh, make sure you check that out, I've seen a couple over the past month and it saved me a lot of dough. Anyway, I'm looking find some fellow tubers/tooners to help me get started out there. Let me know if you're going to go anytime soon. Thanks, Eric [signature]

Minersville Res out of Beaver UT. The smally caught me by surprise I had heard there were some in there but I hadn't seen or caught one before.

Trout big trout. Minersville gets pretty hot in the summer so Panguitch is better for the summer. I usually don't go back until after Labor Day. Kolob Res Is a great place to go in the summer. Both of these reseviors are artificial only no bait or smells to include powerbait.
