Man it was so freaking cold today. My boots froze up and I lost a pinky...not really. Well, got there around 7:30 and missed one on the very first drop. Felt like a smallie. I blew out my ACL back in September and it ruined my hunting this year and tackling the snow and sinking in the ice was a little rough on the knee. My buddy and I fished the Narrows and I found a spot with bluegill and we caught about a half dozen-one nice one. My buddy hooked into 2 smallies and the largest going around 2 lbs plus. We managed 1 perch and no crappe. My buddy had to leave and I decided to go somewhere else on the lake. Headed North around to the parking lot on the west side of the lake before the marina. Dropped down and walked out about 150 yards and dropped down. Snow was deeper there than in the Narrows and a pain. Cleared an area out and caught 3 nice crappie and missed a few others. I was fishing about 20 ft down about 3 to 4 reals off the bottom. I used a white gizzy bug with a glow in the dark jig head. I couldn't stay long and I would've caught more. Left around 3p.m. and headed back to Logan. All in all it was a blistering cold day with little fish.

I also met up with some friends. We caught crappie, perch, bluegill, smallie, and the best fish of all, the carp. That friend who caught the carp received so much crap, i mean carp.
