Hi,
I just talked to one of my buddies, and he fished ashton res last week. They caught quite a few fish, but they also fell through the ice three times between the two of them. so if anybody's going up there, know that there are some weak spots and tread lightly.

The area by the dam is always dangerous due to the undercurrents etc... I have caught some nice fish out of there, but it is always a gamble. Now that there is a blanket of snow on the ice I would not go out on that area.
