My 2007 hunt pics.
#1
[Smile]Just thought i'd show off my 2007 hunting pics. The velvet buck is my girlfriend Crystel's...it was her first deer tag ever and she got it on our third trip out...with her bow. Her shot was from 33 yards and he went 80 yards and klunked. He was 25.5" wide and 21" tall 4x4 with one scorable eyegaurd...measured in at 165 1/8" P&Y. The 2-pt i shot was a bad day...long story. It;s my biggest 2pt ever...20"wide and 19" tall haha!!!! I don't have our elk pics on the computer but i took 3 different guys to my stands in 2 weeks and they all got spikes and i got skunked!!! Haha. Shot my first Javelina on Jan. 1,2008 in southern Arizona with my brand new bow...that's a super fun hunt if ya'll get winter hunt fever like i do.

Yep believe it or not it was a general unit, public land, no fences for miles!...northern region to be exact[Wink]haha. We were about 15 miles in on dirt road, 1.5 miles in on ATV trail, then a 1.75 mile hike almost straight down, which means you pack it out straight up!! I got home from my summer in Alaska 4 days before the hunt and headed straight to this spot to start glassing...i found a group of six bucks...this one being the second from largest. The bigger one was a 5x6 about 29" wide. He never showed himself again but this guy came in right at daybreak on Sept. 1st with a 22" 4x4 that was already rubbed and also a 2pt! Both the 4pts stood shoulder to shoulder for about 2 minutes and finally the smaller one took 2 steps away and cleared her up for a shot. We got all three spikes in the same spot... this buck walked right around gut-piles from 2 spikes we killed on opening day of elk. The 2 spikes were shot less than 10 minutes apart and died less than 20 yards from eachother!

Sorry never saw the AZ question before...we were southeast of Tuscon...right on the mexico border...like within five miles...there was little immigrant camps in the washes.

I did a little bit.
In New Mexico it was hard to draw out.
My brother in law hunts them every year in the Safford, Az area.
