3x-4x strength weedless treble hooks
#1
I need some extra strength weedless treble hooks for peacock bass fishing in florida. I prefer long shank but any super duty weedless treble will do. I already tried the Matzuo and the eagle claw and they were not strong enough. The Matzuo looked like it had been through the garbage disposal after one fish. I really need some high quality, high strength hooks. Also, if anyone can tell me how to create a weedless treble myself (I already tried and failed) it would be greatly appreciated.

Why couldn't you use some single strand steel leader and just cut small pieces and twist on each side of the hook to deflect the weeds? Owner makes a tough 4 strong trebble.

Also, why does it have to be trebble hooks? Why not a single? If you're using a lure, you'll get better action going to a single hook anyhow. Eliminate the middle hook, and run a single on the back.

I need these weedless trebles for a roostertail spinner. I tried using a single hook, but since there is only one hook on a spinner, I was missing fish I belive I would have otherwise hooked.

What sizes of weedless treble hooks are you interested in maybe I can help you. The biggest size I have tested yet are Eagle Claws 4/0 modell nr 374, sligtly modified by myself.

Hope I'm not to late. I'm supposed to get an E-mail alert when I get a response to my posts, apparently, not this time. If those are strong hooks, I want them.
