Hey just wondering if any of you like to bowfish? I live in Cache Valley and it's one of my favorite things to do. Today I shot 21 Carp it was awesome...best in a long time. If any of you like to bowfish or want to give it a shot let me know i'm always looking for company out there!
Went out today 4-7 and shot another 32 carp and 6 rockchucks with my bows! I got some pretty cool video footage of the carp slaughter it was fun.

Bowfishing is a ton of fun. Utah lake can be phenomenal in the spring time. If the conditions are right, you can kill hundreds in a day.

[cool][#0000ff]I have never seen you shoot carp with a bow, but I can testify that you are vicious with your pontoon oars. Singles, doubles and homeruns aplenty. And the entire shoreline became red in the carnage of the slaughter. [/#0000ff]

It is good to hear and know that there are those who actively pursue the water pigs that are carp. Go out and shoot as many as time permits, you will be doing nature and all of us a big favor. I just don't know why the UDWR doesn't just put in some troll nets in Utah Lake, and really decrease their numbers. It seem to me that on this particular issue, they are all talk and absolutely no action. If commercial troll nets take a toll on salmon and tuna ocean fisheries, why on Earth would they not make a difference on a 24 mile long by 16 mile wide 15 foot lake. I have never recieved a rational response from them regarding this issue. I would put my manpower and money to support such and undertaking, I tell you what.
