Has anyone had any luck with the smaller soft plastic swim baits?
I bought two different types to try. One is a 6" White colored walleye (requires a 6/0 EWG weighted hook) from a company called Matt's and the other is a 5" Storm irridescent crappie (comes pre-hooked).
So far, I caught a 4 pound largemouth on the lure from Matt's and I've yet to try the Storm.
I looked at some of the hard plastic swim baits and larger ones. Holy cow!!! They're monstrous!!! I saw a 10 oz perch that was 14" long!!! That's twice as big as the real thing.
