Wiper on the fly

Went out to willard and did some bank fishing by the south marina yesterday. Saw lot's of shad in close and the wind was still enough to cast, so I tied on a flashy white streamer I made up and low and behold after a couple casts I got my first wiper on a fly. All I can say is what a hoot. Fine fish to catch on a fly. Sorry, no pics as I don't have a camera but I am sure you all have seen a guy with a fish ing away before...Walt
