Hey I have a few questions that i have not been able to get the answers to but would like to know before i even get my line wet. I am new to saltwater fishing i came from Ohio great lake perch and walleye fishing, I am very interested in shark fishing in the surf and off piers. I would like to know what type of equitment you guys suggest for rod and reel. the types of bait i should be using. Any hot spots that I could start off at. I have been really reading up on how the tides effect fishing and am not really getting the whole pictue. And any other helpful hints would be apriciated. Thanks
