Blackfishing anyone?

Been out a few time since the beginning of the season found the good spots outside of black rock harbor caught a few 7 pounders.. porgys are really in numbers though so you have to find the spots without them, picked the crabs apart before they get down to the rocks

tide looks good for saturday.. hopefully we can get out on the water before everyone else ![fishin]

Well? How did you make out. Saw some guys on stonington breakwater trying, but didn't see much action.

There was no action at all , the most boats ive seen out there all year, 15 boats around a spindle or rock pile and i only saw 1 keeper caught in 6 hours
Tons of bunker though in fairfield know that from first hand account, no bluefish though
Tonight i think we are going to stock up on eels and liveline some bunker off stratford shoal and in bridgeport harbor
