Agreed! I love Roberts for kids I have had many trips out there with my son, and it always produces. Anytime I see a kid out fishing it makes me quite happy. Fewer and fewer kids our doing it; so I am thrilled you got your kid brother out. Fish and Game will even lend equipment to classrooms to get kids fishing, only the teacher needs a license for the day. Good report and I might be out there Monday afternoon.

Went out and fished Roberts yesterday. Hit it about 12 and stayed until 330. Landed probably over 50 perch and three trout and few more trout that got off. There was 4-5 inches of ice in most spots. They hit mealies, perch meat fish eggs, corn and plain old bare lures. Just had to find a spot they were at. We would drill a test hole, drop a line and jig for 30 seconds. If we didn't either get a hit or see any checking it out we moved on.
