Welcome to the boards curtyfish. I think the hwy is still not clear, but with all this raging heat it won't be long. Hope you catch something.

Checked water flow today on the web. It stated that by robertson most creeks were iced over and didnt give flows. I dont think that is accurate but I would imagine from wyoming in is still snowed over a bit and wont be open till mid june. So hard to say with the unbelievable heat though.

well if you are famillar with the heber valley, snake creek still has snow to the bumber of trucks and it is about the same elevation so i would guess there might still be some snow and ice up there, give it a little more time and well be fishing them.

[Smile]Me and my bro tried to fish whitney last saturday but the gate on the whitney road was still locked so we decided to hit lily at lily (in the bear river drainage) there was no snow and it was warm didn't catch a thing though didn't even have a bite and every one there was having the same luck but it was nice to get away from the heat I tried to call the evanston ranger district to ask when the whitney road would open but I didn't have any long distance on my phone but at the gate there was no snow and I figure if there was any snow on the road higher above the gate it wouldn't be more than 4-6 inches hope this helps.
