Hey I realize most of us are usually fishing Mead or Mohave but I gotta tell ya Floyd Lamb State Park can be a lotta fun. Especially during the week when there is only a handful of people fishing. The fish are usually small (10-12 inches) but ocassionaly 2-3 pounders are caught. If you use ultra lite tackle and are willing to swing some small lures you will definitely catch em and there pretty scrappy little rainbows and also pretty good eatin. I would rather be in my boat out on the lake but then again this little lake is just around the corner and its usually a blast. I was there today (Friday) and the trout stocking truck pulled up and dumped 1018 rainbow trout into the lake and they looked quite healthy and little bigger than normal.[fishin]

I think 3 pounds is stretching it for the trout. they some times stock three inch ones in there :[

these were caught 3/7/09 and the top one is one of the biggest I have seen come out of there. I also asked a regular who is there every morning and he said that the largest is prob 1.5 pounds...
