WLG, Chick, Blue Catfish (HOF), 3-8-09, Monstercat

Me and Troy got out for a little while today and enjoyed the nice weather out on the water. The bite was pretty slow for us. We fished water from 20 ft to 70 ft and only boated 4 cats ranging from 2 lbs to 46 lbs. troy had a 20 lber and I got the 46. The cats were caught on skipjack herring chunks. The fish all seemed to be congrigated in just a couple different spots but they were thick in those 2 spots....just wouldnt bite!!! emoBang I did see another fish in the 50 lb range caught right beside us....so I know there were some more big fish there. But I will take a 46 lb Big Blue Cat ANY day of the week!!! Also caught several spotted bass and crappie..while we were waiting for the Big kitties to bite. I think around 25 bass and close to 30 crappie...but who's countin emoBig Heres a pic of the 46 lb blue for the CFF HOF!!
