Wow what a fun day, emoTongue The forecast said rain Friday so DK and I decided that if it was raining at 7:30 this morning we wouldn't fish today, Sad But when I called him at 7:45 he said there was no rain on the lake and not much wind so I had to get into high gear to get hooked up and down to his house by 9:30 to launch. We tried several places before we really found crappie but when we did the catch was on, emoSmile The most short fish that we've ever caught with only about 12 or 15 keepers and no TARPs today but the total count was 81 crappie and 1 lil baby spot about 8 inches long, guess he was practicing for later in life, emoSmile The count was 2 to 4 with a pretty steady retrieve using So. Pro Crappie Stingers, white with the tail dipped and also caught some on ringer stingers and BG shad. Most fish were caught in about 10 FOW with water temps around the 55* range. All most all fish came from docks with wooden posts.
I was in such a hurry to get going this morning that I forgot my camera so DK will have to post the pictures that he took with his camera.
We managed to fish all day without any rain. We had one time that it sprinkled for about 2 or 3 minutes so don't believe the weather forecasters about the rain 'cause they just can't get it right, emoRedface
