well i went out today in search of crappie with my newly installed humminbird 798 side imaging sonar emoParty
launched out of hbsp around 8am to very dense fog and thanks to the gps i very slowly made my way to wolftiever.
made a few passes with the SI only yo see lots of stuff but not very many fish . on up around polo's it was very muddy
with LOTS of debris in the water. found a few docks with what was obviously fish but not a bite.

with the fog lifted i made it out to some main lake spots where i snapped this pick of what i think was a school of crappie .
as large a school as it looks i only got 3 short (fat but short ) fish from it .

cruised up to the nuke area just to see what it looked like on the SI and ran into ericM who was also having a slow day.

tried to bass fish a couple of coves while looking around with the SI but its hard to fish AND look at that thing at the same time emoDoh
i did pick up one more decent crappie and a barely keeper LM on a craw jig before it was time for me to go at 3pm .

made a pass at the boat slips next to the gas pumps at hbsp just to see what that looked like.

water temp was from 53 to nearly 60 in the back of one cove and the crappie came on BG bleeding shad on a 10 count
