Wow! Unbelievably slow catfishing again today. I caught ONE 8 lb blue cat and ONE drum. A couple of regulars were telling me that the commercial netters have been working the area hard, and this is the second set of regulars to tell me how much commercial fishing has been going on. Still, it's hard to believe that they are taking that many fish, and I have to wonder where the cats might be. The bait is still there by the gazillion, but I have not seen ANY indication of skipjack or striped bass at all this year. And on top of that, the wind picked up and kind of ruined an otherwise beautiful day by making it feel cold. Oh well, there's always tomorrow (thank goodness!). Here's a pic of my drum! emoBig
