Biofisher I, Chick, Bass, 3/17/09, son
#1
Got out early with my son before the fog lifted. We put in today at skull island. We carefully made it out to the river and picked up the spinnerbait. First spinnerbait fish of the year was a fat 14 inch largemouth. the second was his brother. The fog burned off and we headed down river. There was no current on the river this morning until the north wind started blowing. After several short bites on the spinnerbait and no bites on the jerkbait we switched to soft plastics. We started to fish for crappie but all holes were covered. So spots were next in the plan. We picked up two smallmouths and four spots. The Sm were 15 and 16 inches. The spots were fun and strong this morning the wind was not. I included a pic of two spots not to big but fun.
