Went down and camped with my grandfather and grandmotherat Goosepond for a few days at the Big G. I had a great time , even though it was cold and wet most of the time. I fished the river bank with the boat in 15 ft, casting into 5 ft with scattered milfoil and coontail moss. I had 30 or so keepers that I put in the boat over the duration of the trip and lost about a dozen others also. Four or five of the dozen were well over 5 pds. One looked and felt huge (?8 ,9,10,Maybe bigger?).I ended up with 6 fish over 5 pds. I was surely on some good'uns! All of the fish were caught on XR75's & One Knocker's 1 oz. size, in Royal Shad and Oxbow colors. The water temp was 52 to 56. North Sauty Creek was 60 and climbing half way back in the stumps on 3-16-09. I also heard rumors of a 15 lb. 7 oz. LMB caught down there on Sat. the 14th. I don't know how reliable that is . I guess we'll know sooner or later. Zach emoBigSmile
